Financial Specialist

Are you a accurate and organised professional with a passion for finance? We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague to join our team, who will be responsible for financial administration and administrative processes.

What will the role involve?

As a Financial Specialist, you will be responsible for the financial administration, from day-to-day bookkeeping to reporting and the preparation of monthly financial reports (including cash flow forecasts). You will draw up the annual budgets. You will also be responsible for further optimising and streamlining administrative processes. You will act as the point of contact for the external auditor and handle tax returns (including VAT).

Furthermore, you are responsible for ensuring adequate and reliable administrative processes and overseeing the correct application of and compliance with internal procedures. You report to the business controller and support management with reliable management information. In the various sub-areas (including tax matters, treasury and insurance), you will be supported by the expertise available within the Schoonderwolf Group.

Who are you?

  • You work and think on bachelor level;
  • You have relevant work experience; experience at a manufacturing company and/or an accountancy firm is an advantage;
  • You have in-depth professional knowledge, work accurately and are comfortable in a central, varied and controlling role;
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One is an advantage;
  • You have a pragmatic and proactive attitude, strong communication skills and a confident personality;
  • You are decisive and a team player;
  • You are fluent in spoken and written Dutch. As a large proportion of our contacts are abroad, fluency in German, English and/or French is an advantage.
